About José Marin Plazuelo
Born in Granada in 1960, José Marin Plazuelo is the nephew and apprentice of Antonio Marin Montero, one of the most renowned luthiers in Granada. He began his guitar-making journey at just 14 years old, learning under his uncle's expert guidance. Soon after, he started building guitars under his own name, creating instruments known for their exceptional quality and refined craftsmanship.
To this day, he continues to share his workshop with Antonio Marin Montero and José Gonzalez Lopez, solidifying his position as a worthy successor to the legacy of Antonio Marin Montero. His guitars are highly sought after by both professional and dedicated guitarists worldwide.
