Latin American Guitar Concert 28 June
Sunday 28th June, 16.30.
Born in Chile and now active across Europe, Danilo Cabaluz is an extraordinary guitarist, composer, and teacher whose music is deeply rooted in the landscapes, rhythms, and traditions of Latin America. Trained first at the Universidad de Chile with renowned guitarist Luis Orlandini, and later at the Mozarteum University Salzburg under the legendary Eliot Fisk, he has built a unique artistic voice that bridges classical mastery with the soul of folk tradition. He currently teaches guitar and chamber music at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. (ticket-regional.de)
Danilo’s artistry goes far beyond performance. His compositions and arrangements draw inspiration from Chilean and Latin American traditional music—cueca, zamba, chacarera, Andean rhythms, and other folkloric forms—transforming them into rich and contemporary works for the guitar. With warmth, virtuosity, and authenticity, he brings these traditions to life on stage, always with elegance and emotional depth. (Danilo Cabaluz)
He has performed internationally as a soloist and with acclaimed ensembles, carrying the sound of Latin America to concert halls throughout Europe and the Americas. Whether on classical guitar or charango, Danilo’s playing is vibrant, refined, and profoundly human. (Festival Internacional de Guitarra)
During his visit to Casa Guitarra, Danilo will also give an exclusive two-day workshop and masterclass—a rare opportunity for guitarists and music lovers to learn directly from a true master. The seminar will explore harmony, accompaniment, rhythm, and the rich language of Latin American guitar traditions, offering practical tools, musical insight, and artistic inspiration for players of all levels.
Experience the music up close in a warm, personal setting. Only 15 tickets!
After the performance, we invite you to stay for drinks and snacks, creating space to connect, share, and continue building and strengthening our growing guitar community at Casa Guitarra.
