This handmade flamenco guitar by Rafael Romero, built in 1997 in San Fernando, Cádiz (Andalusia), is a beautiful example of traditional Spanish craftsmanship.

This is a fully solid, handcrafted guitar, known for its fast response and dry, punchy sound — exactly the qualities that define the traditional flamenco tone. It’s light, easy to play, and perfect for accompanying dance or singing.

Rafael Romero is not only a skilled luthier but also a talented flamenco guitarist, which is reflected in the playability and character of his instruments.

The guitar is in good condition overall. It has had one crack behind the bridge, which has been properly repaired and is stable. For a guitar of this age, this is quite common and not structurally concerning.
