The Monochord, also known as a sonometer, is one of the oldest musical instruments in the world, with roots reaching back to ancient civilizations. Traditionally used for music, research, and spiritual practices, today it is also widely appreciated for sound healing and sound therapy, offering deep relaxation and meditative experiences through its rich harmonic resonance.

This handcrafted instrument features 

30 strings and is built with exceptional attention to detail. 
 sides are made of rosewood (Badook), showcasing natural wood patterns that look like a painting — each piece is unique. 
top is made of Canadian red cedar, chosen for its warm tonal qualities and extraordinary sustain. Together, these woods create an instrument that resonates beautifully, with powerful vibrations and mesmerizing overtone layers.

The curved shape design not only strengthens the structure but also makes the instrument more comfortable to play and easier to place, for example, on top of a bassine for sound therapy sessions.
