Felipe Conde Crespo Esteso model
Felipe Conde Crespo – “Homenaje a Domingo Esteso”
This beautiful guitar is crafted by Felipe Conde Crespo, the fourth generation of the legendary Conde / Esteso familyof Madrid guitarreros.
The family legacy began with Domingo Esteso, apprentice to Manuel Ramírez, who became one of Spain’s greatest luthiers of the early 20th century. His guitars were renowned for their refined simplicity, rich tone, and deep resonance. After his death, his nephews — Faustino, Mariano, and Julio Conde — continued his work, creating the famous Hermanos Conde guitars, played by masters like Paco de Lucía.
Felipe Conde Crespo continues this tradition today, blending the authentic Madrid school of construction with modern precision and artistry.
This particular instrument is a faithful homage to Domingo Esteso, built with the same spirit and attention to detail that shaped nearly a century of Spanish guitar history.
