Guitar & Ukulele Lessons with Ahmad Naffory
Learn to play in the warm, intimate setting of Casa Guitarra, right in the centre of Amsterdam. Our one-hour private lessons are fully tailored to you: your level, your goals and the music you love. Whether you’re picking up a guitar or ukulele for the first time or want to take your playing further, Ahmad will build a program with you that helps you truly grow as a musician.
How it works
In your first lesson, you and Ahmad discuss what you’d like to learn and where you want to go. From there, he designs a personal program that develops solid technique, musicality and confidence step by step. The lessons are dynamic, challenging and fun, and a wonderful reason to step out of the house and make music together.
About your teacher
Ahmad Naffory is a professional guitarist with more than 10 years of experience teaching guitar. He trained in classical guitar and music education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and alongside classical repertoire he also plays flamenco and Arabic music. Ahmad also teaches at the Amsterdam Music School, where he gives individual guitar lessons as well as group and band lessons. His broad experience, patience and clear method help you master the technique that will make you a better guitarist and musician.
The location
Lessons take place at our cosy shop in the centre of Amsterdam, easily reachable by bike and public transport. You’ll be surrounded by handcrafted classical and flamenco guitars, an inspiring place to learn.
Limited availability
Lessons are given only outside shop opening hours, so places are very limited and we can take on only a small number of students. We recommend booking early.
