Salvador Cortez' first all solid model, the CS-80 has the solid European spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back. The tone is loud, light and lively. The solid spruce top delivers a fullness to the tones that lift this guitar from the crowd. More complex than instruments with laminated sides and back, but not as well defined as an all solid guitar with rosewood sides and back, the mahogany is more forgiving and is perceived as more friendly. To improve on complexity, you could choose the Salvador Cortez CS-90 model, but at this pricepoint, the CS-80 can't be beaten.
