Homenaje a Domingo Esteso ( Replica )
In our workshop, surrounded by some of the finest guitars ever made, one instrument captured our hearts — a Domingo Esteso from 1931, completely original and full of history. It inspired us to begin a very special project: to create an exact, faithful copy of this remarkable guitar.
Each instrument in this limited edition of two will be crafted by hand, built with the same spirit and precision as the original. We are even using vintage tonewoods — rare materials acquired years ago from a respected luthier who has since passed away — to give these guitars a truly authentic voice.
This Homenaje a Domingo Esteso model features a German spruce top, Spanish cypress back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard. The rosewood tuning pegs, built in the traditional flamenco style, complete the instrument with both charm and authenticity.
Extremely lightweight and responsive, this guitar offers a powerful, colorful, and vibrant sound — the essence of the classic flamenco voice.
This is a rare opportunity to own a historically inspired instrument at an exceptional value:
€2,500 (excluding VAT) — available only for pre-order.
The guitars will be completed around December, built with care, passion, and respect for tradition.
Homenaje a Domingo Esteso —
a tribute born from love for the craft,
from the hands of two generations of luthiers,
and from the timeless sound of Spain.
About Domingo Esteso
Domingo Esteso (1882–1937) was one of the finest Spanish luthiers of the early twentieth century — a true pioneer of the flamenco guitar.
Together with Santos Hernández, he helped define the modern flamenco instrument, giving it its characteristic lightness, brilliance, and expressive power.
His legacy lived on through his nephews, who later became the renowned Conde family, continuing his tradition of excellence and passion for the guitar.
